Antique Cowboy with tarnished six-shooter, rusty spurs, and swaybacked steed. Garage kept, housebroken, and mannerful. Grammatically textuous, with traces of chivalry and dance-floor etiquette. If you read the blog...the least you can do is say hello and leave a smile or sumthin'.

BOTHERS
This morning, as I was scraping away three days worth of whiskers, I became fascinated by the mirror. No, not the image in the mirror...the mirror itself. How come the image is always backwards, but not upside down?
I mean, at some point, somewhere, someone had to decide that. And how does the mirror itself know what is up and down, and left and right, so the image is backwards...but never upside down...no matter how you rotate the glass?
Think about it. As I've mentioned before in this journal, some things just bother me.
And then there's dictionaries. I mean, every book has typos...so how do we know, for sure, when we look up a word, that it's spelled correctly? Maybe that very word is the only typo in the entire volume.
Still, I like dictionaries. I'm working on reading the dictionary from cover to cover. That way, I can truthfully say I've read every book ever printed...the words are just in a little different order.
Ya'll have a cowboy day...
