Antique Cowboy with tarnished six-shooter, rusty spurs, and swaybacked steed. Garage kept, housebroken, and mannerful. Grammatically textuous, with traces of chivalry and dance-floor etiquette. If you read the blog...the least you can do is say hello and leave a smile or sumthin'.

I'M SICK OF IT...
It takes an lot...and I do mean a lot...but when a cowboy finally gets a belly full...something's got to give...
I have a job being a cowboy, right?...and I get paid to do that job of cowboyin'...day in and day out. If I want a NEW job, the only way I can pursue that endeavor full time is quit my cowboyin' job.
What bothers me are all these senators who are being paid with MY tax dollars to do the job of senatoring. Seems like a whole horse trailer full of them have heard there's an opening in the White House soon, and have decided they really don't like senatoring all that much after all. They want a NEW job.
If you paid my cowboy wages, and I didn't show up for work, month after month, what would YOU do?
So here's my political speech for the decade. If you want a new job, quit the old one first. If you don't get the new job, too bad, so sad...file for unemployment benefits like the rest of us. Oh wait...that's right...you get a government pension, don't you?
Maybe I should announce MY candidacy...write-in campaign...that's spelled M-E-Y-E-R folks. If I win, would someone please come let me know. Till then, I'll be out at the barn, doin' what I'm getting' paid to do.
