COWBOY KISSES
Recently, in a casual conversation with a very attractive lady, I was asked if cowboy kisses were categorically unique. Realizing she was not a cowgirl, and therefore had no practical experience in such matters, I decided to provide her with a small measure of overview training before proceeding into more, shall we say, hands-on methods of instruction.

Section 9 - Hugs and Kisses
CHAPTER 1 - Public Hugs and Kisses
This type of physical contact, while remaining non-committal, conveys a wide range of messages, from complete innocence through slight suggestiveness. For the hug, a cowboy's hands are typically placed gently on the lady's back (without crossing), his palms almost always across her shoulder blades. Her body is ever so gently pulled towards his, just enough so that she notices the effort. Cheek contact is sometimes allowed, but the cowboy's chin should never pass beyond the vertical plane of her back.
The ensuing kiss requires male hands either on the lady's upper arms, or casually and non-possessively touching her face or sides of her neck. More commonly, this type of kiss is performed while holding hands. The lips are very delicately contacted, or brushed lightly.
Common sub-messages of the Public Hug/Kiss include "Hi", "I Missed You", and "I Like You".
CHAPTER 2 - Private Hugs and Kisses
A completely different type of communication happens in private, and it is strongly recommended that the cowboy wear rather loose jeans.
The hug is designed to be quite personal, and full body contact is desired. The cowboy's arms are used to pull the lady into him, and crossing them behind her back is expected. The hug lasts longer than its public counterpart, but the cowboy's hands should not be allowed to drop below her waist. Slow sliding of the arms and hands, up and down, can enhance the hug.
During the kiss, several locations for a cowboy's hands are acceptable, but the most effective is on the lady's ribs, on a level plane with her breasts, or at the base of her neck. This kiss is more communicative, and the subtle use of the tongue can often produce extremely interesting results. Gentleness is the key, but nibbling and sucking of the lady's lips can be highly effective. The kiss can last for long minutes, and is almost always defined by the need to shift positions of the head several times.
Sub-messages can include "You are Special", "You are HOT", or "I am SOOO Aware of Your Sexuality".
